This course provides you an opportunity to experience being a CEO/Entrepreneur of your very own company through practical use-application of business law most crucial to establishing a new business. As a practical course taught by an attorney-entrepreneur, the course materials and assignments are an eclectic mix of different topical areas in business law as applied to actual practice. These areas include choice of business structure, professional responsibility, employment and contract law, the legal framework of finance and laws governing taking the company public with a focus on securities laws. Emphasis will be placed on a thorough and immersive experience as an attorney/entrepreneur and understanding the role and responsibilities of business lawyers as counselors and entrepreneurs.
