Basic Business Principles Course Description - LAWN865

This course provides an introduction to fundamental business principles, specifically tailored to enhance the value of subsequent courses addressing the law governing and affecting business enterprises. In many ways, this course is similar to an introductory course one might encounter in an MBA program. However, its purpose in the Touro JD curriculum is to provide a law student with a useful context for a better understanding of traditional offerings in business law. The course is also intended to give the aspiring business practitioner a better understanding of the needs of his or her future clients (this course will not, however, focus directly on the business of practicing law). (No prerequisite.)
