Description
October 2, 2023 marks the Tenth Annual Wrongful Conviction Day. International Wrongful Conviction Day is a day to raise
awareness of the causes and remedies of wrongful conviction and to recognize the tremendous personal, social, and
emotional costs of wrongful conviction for innocent people and their families. During this lunch period we would like to learn
and share about the issues of wrongful conviction. We will be showing two episodes of The Moth which tell the stories of
Michael VonAllmen and Rickie Johnson who were both wrongfully convicted.
Presented by the Touro ACLU.
