The Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) enacted in 2019 set climate change goals for New York with a focus on renewable energy projects. This program will provide a detailed look into New York State’s up and coming offshore wind energy development projects. We will hear from regulators, developers, and stakeholders on how New York State’s offshore wind development projects are progressing and what kind of unique challenges they have faced along the way.
