October 25, 2022

A ribbon–cutting ceremony to celebrate new campus completion at Touro University Long Island Campus, located at 225 Eastview Drive, will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 11:00 am.  The campus is home to Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Touro University School of Health Sciences and Touro University Graduate School of Education.

On Thursday, government officials including Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Senator Alexis Weik, as well as Touro University President Dr. Alan Kadish, Executive Vice President Rabbi Moshe Krupka, Touro Senior VP for Academic Affairs Patricia Salkin, Touro University School of Health Sciences Dean Steven Lorenzet, Interim Dean of Graduate Education and Associate Provost Nelly Lejter Morales, Touro Law Center Dean Elena Langan, faculty and students will gather for a ceremony and remarks before ceremoniously cutting the ribbon to signify the opening of the new building.

The expansion of the new LI campus is testament to the growth of Touro University. With the addition of a newly-constructed building, this campus brings together the Law School, the School of Health Sciences and the School of Graduate Education and will offer multiple opportunities to students and faculty for interdisciplinary collaboration. The debut of the new LI campus is one of many milestones as Touro celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, including the granting of University status, the opening of a New PsyD program at the Touro School of Health Sciences, the launching of a new medical school in Montana and the affiliation of a research facility in New Mexico.
