Touro Law Auction Raises Nearly $75K for Public Interest Fellowships
November 18, 2025Touro Law Center’s Annual Goods and Services Auction, held on November 5, 2025 at the law school, raised nearly $75,000. All proceeds from the auction benefit Touro Law’s Public Interest Law Fellowship Program, awarding stipends to students who are dedicated to helping others through public service work during the summer.
"Every year, I'm inspired by the generosity of our bidders, donors and sponsors at this event," said Dean Elena Langan. "Behind these bids and donations are real opportunities—students who will spend their summers advocating for those who can't afford legal help. This auction doesn't just raise funds, it provides critical hands-on training opportunities for our students who gain experience while serving those in need within our communities."
As a result of this year’s auction and fundraising efforts, Touro Law will be able to award 10 Summer Public Interest Law Fellowships. Fellowships are awarded to upper-division students , who receive a stipend for ten weeks of full-time employment with a public interest legal employer including work in poverty law, civil or public rights law, and more.
Touro Law offers a variety of fellowships and scholarships to both incoming and current students. The Public Interest Law Fellowship program began at Touro Law nearly 25 years ago.
