New Director of Alumni and Donor Relations Announced at Touro Law

Touro Law Center Dean Patricia Salkin is pleased to announce the hiring of Erica Vladimer, Class of 2013 as the new Director of Alumni and Donor Relations. 

"It is a unique opportunity for an institution when one of its own highly qualified graduates accepts an alumni position,” said Dean Salkin. “Erica Vladimer brings a passion and valuable perspective to this job, and the faculty and staff join me in welcoming her to this new role."  

Erica Vladimer, a New Jersey native, attended the University of Connecticut where she received her bachelors in Sociology. After working for a year as a Public Ally, she chose to attend law school at Touro Law Center, where she was began turning her passion for social justice into a career. After graduating from Touro in 2013, Erica accepted a position with the New York State Senate Fellowship Program as a Policy Analyst and Counsel for the Independent Democratic Conference. For a little over a year and a half, Erica focused on education policy, working with legislators and advocates to ensure students across the state receive the education they deserve. She also represented the Independent Democratic Conference in the Education and Higher Education budget negotiations. 

Erica stated, “I am extremely excited to continue my career at Touro Law. I am looking forward to putting my experience and knowledge as well as my passion for the school to use as an advocate for our alumni and an ambassador for the school.”

Touro Law graduated its first class in 1983 and has more than 6,000 alumni who are an integral part of the community and play an important role in the education and enrichment of students. Touro Law alumni serve as leaders in the profession in every area including private practice and government service.
