February 7, 2017

Dean Harry Ballan is pleased to announce that Pamela Greene ‘98 has been named Director of Alumni and Donor Relations.

“Pam has always been an active member of the Touro Law family and we are grateful to have her working in this capacity” stated Dean Harry Ballan. “I am confident that Pam will serve as an extraordinary liaison for our alums as well as their advocate. She knows our institution and will bring a renewed enthusiasm to our outreach and alumni efforts.”

In her new role, Pam will provide leadership for a comprehensive alumni and fundraising program that supports the mission of Touro Law Center.  Said Greene “Since graduating Touro, I’ve remained an active member of the law school community. There have been many changes over the years but one constant is Touro’s commitment to remain an outstanding student centered law school. I look forward to this new role and working with my fellow alumni to strengthen Touro while contributing to the local and legal communities around us.”

Pamela Greene has dedicated over 30 years of her career to public service. Beginning as an Intern in the New York State Assembly, continuing on to work as a Legislative Assistant in the New York State Senate, Pam was elected to four terms as Councilwoman for the Town of Islip, having previously earned the distinction of being the youngest elected official in the Town’s history when she was elected in 1989 as Islip Town Clerk.

In 2008, she was appointed by former Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy to the position of Director of the Division of Real Property Acquisition and Management where she supervised Suffolk County’s nationally recognized land preservation program. She returned to the Town of Islip in 2013 as an Assistant Town Attorney where her duties included serving as counsel to Long Island MacArthur Airport.

Pam graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelors Degree in Economics and earned her Law Degree from Touro Law Center in 1998. Pam maintains her private law practice having begun her legal career as Of Counsel to Valerie S. Manzo, Esq. of Smithtown. She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association. She taught both graduate and undergraduate classes as an associate adjunct professor at both Dowling College and Suffolk County Community College.

Pam and her husband, Michael Dawidziak, President of Strategic Planning, Inc., are active residents in the Bayport community where they both serve as members of the Rotary Club of Sayville.
