Howard Glickstein Endowed Public Interest Fellowship Program
Our Law Center has flourished under the visionary leadership of Dean Glickstein. Through his collaborative efforts with the Board of Governors, faculty, and students, we proudly achieved full accreditation from the American Bar Association. Dean Glickstein’s unwavering vision and determination were pivotal in our relocation to our current home in Central Islip, adjacent to the state and federal courthouses. This strategic move created an environment that nurtures legal education and fosters collaboration within our community.
Dean Glickstein dedicated his life to shaping lawyers who would go out into the world not just to succeed, but to serve. He believed deeply that the true measure of a legal education lay in its capacity to uplift the vulnerable — and through his guidance, generations of students were inspired to become fierce advocates for those in need.
It is our goal to continue to build on Dean Glickstein’s vision and dedication to public interest by endowing the public interest fellowship program. Together we can ensure his legacy.
Originally established to commemorate his 95th birthday, this fund now serves to ensure that Dean Glickstein's extraordinary legacy and passion for public interest live on at Touro Law.
