FLORA and the Office of Diversity & Inclusion presents, "Cherished Liberty: 303 Creative v. Elenis, LGBTQ+ Discrimination, & NYS Human Rights Law." Alexander Newman from BLANKROME (An Am Law 100 Firm) and Gabriella Larios/Bobby Hodgson from the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) visit Touro Law Center to inform attendees about the 303 Creative v. Elenis SCOTUS decision from July 2023 and their work in the comparable NY Carpenter v. Letitia James case, and the influence of amicus briefs.
