Civil Dispute Resolution and Procedure uses basic rules of civil procedure as the foundation for exposing students to a problem-solving approach and to forms of dispute resolution beyond traditional litigation. The course comprises an introduction to legal procedures, sources of law, and an overview of dispute resolution methods, from the least formal (negotiation) to the most formal (litigation).
