Advanced Legal Analysis - LAWN956

4 Credits

This course is a graduation requirement for all students in their final semester. Advanced Legal Analysis (ALA) is a 4-credit graded course, required in the final semester prior to graduation, designed to enhance bar exam readiness through focused review and structured practice. Students will revisit highly tested areas of law—including Civil Procedure, Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Real Property, Torts, and Contracts—while strengthening the analytical and test-taking skills necessary for success on multiple-choice and essay components of the bar exam. ALA uses a “flipped classroom” approach: students are required to complete recorded lectures and accompanying assignments prior to each class, with in-person sessions dedicated to applying strategies, methods, and legal reasoning in an exam-like environment. Note: ALA is intended to complement, not replace, a full commercial bar review course.
