Melissa Luckman has been promoted to Assistant Clinical Visiting Professor and remains the Director of the Disaster Relief Law Clinic at Touro Law Center. 2011 Marc J. Poles is engaged to Melissa Sheftel. They were married on September 24, 2016 at the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury, NJ. Joseph Randazzo has been promoted to General Counsel and Vice President of Strategic Growth at EtQ Inc., a software company located in Farmingdale, NY. He was formerly the director of business and legal affairs. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing the legal department, human resources department, L&D department and Cloud Product Division. Daniel Shirazi has joined Skyline Properties as senior director of sales. In this role he will be leveraging his experience as a practicing real estate attorney, spearheading the firm’s expansion into the outer boroughs of New York City, and eventually other cities across the country. Tara Sorensen was featured in the New York Real Estate Journal as a 2016 Women in Real Estate. She talked about the benefits of having a mentor as well as time management strategies. Maksym was promoted to the position of Court Attorney in the Supreme Court Law Department in Riverhead, NY. IN MEMORIUM: It was with regret that we announce the passing of Touro Law alum Patrick Carney, Class of 2011. Patrick was a Captain in the New York Police Department before attending Touro Law.
