Support Touro Law Montana
Help us put more attorneys in the Montana communities that need them.
The Campaign for Touro University Montana is raising $2 million to launch the FlexTime J.D. Program before our first class begins in Fall 2027. The FlexTime J.D. Program offers an innovative solution for prospective law students who need maximum scheduling flexibility without compromising academic rigor. This hybrid program combines in-person instruction, required only on Sundays, with online coursework that can be completed at any time during the week. This makes earning a law degree a practical endeavor for individuals who may not be able to step away from existing careers and family obligations.
Your gift will support:
- FlexTime J.D. Scholarships that expand access to the program
- Legal Clinics & Experiential Education that prepare confident, practice-ready attorneys
- Innovative Learning Spaces for hybrid learning and legal simulations
- Student Fellowships & Community Partnerships that connect students with Montana firms, courts, and agencies
Gifts can be pledged over five years. Our most popular pledges are $1,000 a year ($5,000 total), $5,000 a year ($25,000 total), $10,000 a year ($50,000 total), and $20,000 a year ($100,000 total).
Donor Testimonial
Gregg and Devan Smith of Great Falls have made a gift to The Campaign for Touro University Montana. Gregg, an attorney with Smith Oblander Meade & Mitcham, P.C., explains why:
“There are many reasons why a Great Falls law school is a good idea, but my support is inspired primarily by one: Montana has a serious unmet need for legal services, and a law school in Great Falls offers a practical way to begin addressing it. We lack sufficient resources for necessary pro bono legal services, and even people willing and able to pay often struggle to find counsel. We just don’t have enough lawyers. Everyone likes lawyer jokes, but when you have a legal problem and can’t find a lawyer, it’s not funny at all.”
