Join Touro Law Center for a CLE program on “Estate Planning for Loved Ones with Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorders.” Esteemed experts will address the role of a trusted advisor in discussing and preparing for mental health and substance abuse issues within the family and their impact on estate planning.

Specific topics include: an overview of the breadth of this problem in our society; identifying red flags and understanding how these issues impact an individual’s ability to manage an inheritance and/or to serve as a fiduciary; examining preferred language in estate planning documents; dynasty trusts, protective trusts, and decanting trusts; and examining what happens when an estate plan goes wrong.

This CLE is FREE, but registration is required
