Adjunct Professor of Law
Laura Adler-Greene is an associate with the Law Offices of Andrew M. Cohen practicing in the areas of Children's Rights, Special Education Law and Special Needs Planning.
She received her Juris Doctorate at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Laura is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of The New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association.
Since 2004, Laura has dedicated her career to representing students at school meetings,
disciplinary hearings, special education proceedings and appeals. Laura also provides services relative to 17A and Article 81 Guardianship proceedings and as Guardian Ad Litem appointed by the Nassau County Surrogate's Court.
She has been an Adjunct Professor teaching Special Education Law at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center since 2010.
Laura has testified before the New York State Assembly for the Regional Forum on Autism
She has appeared as a guest speaker on "Special Needs Long Island" a weekly radio program focused on the issues surrounding Long Island's Special Education community. Laura lectures at Bar Association conferences and provides trainings for parents and educators in the areas of Special Education Law and Student Discipline.
