Biography
Kenneth L. Gartner is a partner in the Mineola firm Lynn & Gartner, LLP. Before founding the firm in 2006, he had over 25 years experience litigating in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and before arbitral and administrative tribunals, as well as presiding as a New York State civil and criminal trial judge. In his seven years on the Nassau County District Court bench, Judge Gartner was the most published judge in the history of the New York State District Court, with over 150 published decisions.
He received his law degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Prior to his election as a judge, he practiced with Breed, Abbott & Morgan, then one of New York City’s major firms, and was for over ten years a partner in the leading Long Island firm Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, PC.
